To optimize global health benefits and minimize the social risks of advances in technology through careful evaluation of the associated social and economic impacts

Purpose

To ensure that developing countries share the social and economic benefits of the technology revolution, to prevent the emergence of a “technology (e.g. genomics, nano) divide,” and to address existing disparities in global human health.
